India has one of the oldest cultures in the world. Mathematics, astrology, science etc. are a few modern day traits that have been believed to be originated and flourished here. As time has passed by, the ancient knowledge has been greatly subdued by veils of modernization and ignorance. Having said that, it is no secret that people still care a lot about knowing about their future in advance, especially knowing about the bad things that they might come across so those things can be omitted. The concept of Kaalsarp Dosh is one of those unwanted events that a person might not want to have.
The dosh depends on the apparent placement of Rahu and Ketu in the birth chart of a person. Based on the various permutations and combinations, Kaalsarp Dosh has been categorized into twelve parts. The 11th dosh is called the Vishdhar Kaalsarp Dosh. Vishdhar means to assume poison. Generally used for poisonous snakes, the word has been used in this context because of the presence of Rahu in a person’s birth chart. In Hindi Rahu has sometimes been referred to as Vishdhar. It is believed to be of poisonous nature, i.e. it poisons the planets that surround it. No wonder this yoga has been believed to cause many hurdles in a person’s life.
Causes & Influences:
It has been believed that premature death of a person often makes him take a rebirth. Such people might suffer from this dosh. Also, defining the condition astrologically, it occurs when Rahu has been placed in the house of income i.e. eleventh house and Ketu in the house of education and children i.e. the fifth house. This is a very deadly combination and has innumerable harsh effects on a person.
People suffering from this dosh suffer a lot of difficulty when they opt for higher education. Also, the person often faces difficulty in earning money. He/she has to work a lot to earn a respectable amount. People often tend towards performing immoral acts. People suffering from this dosh often have delays in having children. Insomnia, eye problems, heart problems etc. are very common too. This yoga also affects the memory power.
Remedies:
Lord Shiva wears a snake around his snake and nullifies his poisonous affects. Worshipping the lord with complete devotion and establishing a Vishdhar Kaalsarp Yantra at home are two very good remedies against this dosh. Feeding of barley and millets to birds while chanting Rahu’s mantra has also been considered a very pious remedy for the cure of this dosh also worship of lord Shiva during ‘Saavan’ is held in high esteem. All these things help a great deal in getting rid of the ill-effects of the dosh.
It has to be kept in mind by each and every person that no matter how worse the situation is, a solution always exists. The only thing we need to do is to keep calm and look out for the best way out.
Vishdhar Kaalsarp Dosh examines the person’s patience to a very large extent. To make sure that one does not succumb to the adversities, patience and honesty must be kept intact. No matter what, there is always light at the end of the tunnel, all we need to do is find it.
